Kinase Inhibitor

Sorafenib is a small molecule inhibitor that targets multiple kinases, including c-CRAF, BRAF, and mutant BRAF, which are involved in tumor cell signaling pathways. It also inhibits several cell surface kinases, including KIT, FLT-3, RET, RET/PTC, VEGFR-1, VEGFR-2, VEGFR-3, and PDGFR-β, which are involved in angiogenesis and cell survival. By inhibiting these kinases, Sorafenib can decrease tumor cell proliferation and angiogenesis, as well as induce apoptosis, leading to the inhibition of tumor growth.
